Your values

Below is a list of Life Values. For any whose meaning you are not sure, look them up in a dictionary or thesaurus. Then get a feeling for which values on the list are most important to you. You might copy this list and print it out for ease of use.

Start by finding your top ten values. Then narrow it down to your top five. Finally, select your top three.

For your own personal reference, write a paragraph about each of these top three values, explaining (1) why it is important to you, and (2) how you intend to apply it in your college education and your future career and relationships.

Keep this report in a college preparedness folder. You can review it whenever you hit a rough patch, such as having to make a hard decision.
